To get to Gorgonia Apartments & Suites in Dugi otok from Zadar by car, follow these simple steps.
First, start in Zadar, a city on the coast of Croatia. Drive to the Gaženica Ferry Port, which is about 10 kilometers from the city center. It will take around 15 to 20 minutes to reach the port. You can follow the signs or use a GPS to guide you.

When you arrive at the ferry port, park your car in the parking area. You will need to take a ferry to get there. The ferry ride takes about 90 minutes, and there are regular ferries throughout the day. Be sure to check the ferry schedule before you go, especially during the busy summer months and book the ticket online. Once you’re on the ferry, enjoy the short ride across the sea. The views are beautiful, and you’ll see other islands around you. The ferry will take you to the main port on Dugi Otok, called Brbinj.

After arriving at Brbinj, get back in your car and start driving north the island. The island has good roads, so it’s easy to drive around. The drive from Brbinj to Verunic offers nice views of the sea and nature. The roads are calm and scenic, and you’ll pass small villages and beautiful landscapes. Our apartments are located sea front in Verunic. Follow the signs Gorgonia Apartments on the street.

Coming from Zagreb on the highway, take the A2 exit and follow the signs to the Gazenica port.

Once on the island, Verunic it is only 15 km from the harbour Brbinj.

Zadar Airport (ZAD) is just 12 Km away from the centre Zadar.

There are low cost flights from many European cities to Zadar. Companies such as Easyjet and Ryanair have excellent low-cost connections.

Once in Zadar you have

The ferry that loads the cars departs from the harbour Zadar Gazenica. You have to take the line to Brbinj (Dugi otok).

We suggest to arrive one hour before departure.

The hydrofoil (company GV Lines) departs from Zadar centre for Bozava (Dugi otok).
From this village there are no connections to Verunic.
The car service is on request but bookable in advance.

In Dugi otok there is a bus which connects the harbour Brbinj with the villages in the north of the island. It is generally connected to the ferry timetable: it is better to check the internet. The company that provides the service is called Autotrans; the line is Brbinj-Verunic. Please take note that there is no public transport that connects north to south Dugi otok.
